The Altamira III farm is located at more than 1,450 meters about sea level and surrounded by the well known Himalaya Estate that classified for Cup of Excellence auctions in the past. 100% of their bourbon coffee is processed with mineral water, rich in potassium from the Santa Teresa farm, which is credited for its unusual sweetness. The Altamira III – Andres Peak Lot gets its name after Andres Quiñonez Batres (picture), the new 4 month old grandson of Marcos and Teresa.
The farm is located in Ahuachapán, Cantón San Ramoncito. The coffee was processed at the Santa Teresa Mill. It was wet-processed (washed) and sun dried. After three successive rounds of blind cuppings the International Jury gave it a cupping score of 85.152.
