We bought these coffees directly from the farmers from the official list submitted to us by the Specialty Coffees Association of Costa Rica, who directly warehoused and managed these lots. These lots are not just any lots from these award-winning farms, they are the lots submitted to the Cup of Excellence® competiton and cupped by the National Jury for inclusion in the final international judging. Most of the growers are very well known and have won Cup of Excellence® slots in previous year's competitions. We think they are the best value.
